Extending the value
MedSol, a subsidiary of the CompSol group, recently acquired Practice Relief from Mediclinic South Africa (MCSA).
Practice Relief managed the debtors’ administration of several hundred service providers with admission rights to Mediclinic hospitals. This has become such a specialised service offering to medical service providers nationally that Mediclinic agreed to pass ownership to MedSol.
Says Kurt Heideman, MedSol’s General Manager: “This is one of the biggest business decisions that our group has ever made so it was naturally a well-considered and challenging process.”
The acquisition is testament to the Group’s track record of delivering an efficient, highly skilled service to medical professionals. “We have every confidence in our injury on duty and healthcare practice debtors management processes – in particular, our ability to provide integrated services,” says CompSol’s MD Fritz Lüttich. “With MedSol, we have the opportunity to extend our service lines. This offers even more value, reducing a practice’s admin burden and ensuring that practices are successful businesses.” A basket of new product offerings is currently being developed for our MedSol and CompSol clients, ranging from budgets and cash flows to business plans, payroll administration, specialised HR functions, CCMA support and financial services, etc.
